The first fruit harvested in season, often compared to a large elongated blueberry, but the flesh has a very intense burgundy color.

The haskap has a sweet and slightly tart flavor which is a cross between blueberry, raspberry and blackcurrant.

With its antioxidant properties, its excellent source of vitamins A and C, and its richness in fiber, haskap began to gain popularity.
