Information we collect
Depending on how you contact us or order, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, postal code, order details and communications with us. Your postal code and address may be used to check delivery coverage and calculate applicable fees.
The payment provider processes the information needed for the transaction. Camerise St-Gabriel does not store full payment card numbers on its website.
Live chat
When you use Crisp to speak with someone or leave a message, Crisp may process the conversation and technical information needed to operate the service. Never send passwords, full card numbers or identity documents through chat.
How we use information
- respond to enquiries and provide customer service;
- process, prepare, deliver or hand over an order;
- calculate delivery or shipping eligibility and fees;
- meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations;
- prevent fraud and protect our website, transactions and customers.
Service providers and transfers outside Quebec
We share only the information needed by providers who help us operate the website, process payments, send emails or provide ordering, delivery and shipping services. Some providers, including payment, hosting, mapping, shipping and social media platforms, may process information outside Quebec.
Retention, security and your rights
Information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described, legal obligations and reasonable business management, then destroyed or anonymized in accordance with applicable rules. We use security measures appropriate to the nature of the information.
You may request access to or correction of your information, or withdraw your consent where permitted by law. The person responsible for protecting personal information is the management of Camerise St-Gabriel. Email camerises.ca@gmail.com with “Personal information protection” in the subject line.
Cookies and external links
Strictly necessary cookies may be used to operate the website. Links to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or other external sites are subject to those services' policies when you open them.

Ordering
Descriptions, sizes, images and prices aim to accurately represent our products. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Public availability is shown as “Available”, “Limited quantity” or “Preorder”, without showing exact stock quantities.
An “Available” or “Limited quantity” product can be added to the cart and paid for online, subject to the website's final validation. You can review and correct your cart before continuing. An order is recorded when payment is confirmed.
If the requested quantity exceeds available stock, the cart switches to the preorder process. No payment is requested before our confirmation.

Payment
For available products, payment is processed on Square's secure page. Camerise St-Gabriel neither receives nor stores your full card number.
The subtotal, delivery fees and applicable taxes, if any, are shown before payment confirmation. No additional amount is charged after payment without your agreement, except where permitted by law.

Preorder
A preorder is a request without payment. Receipt does not guarantee availability and is not yet a sale.
Camerise St-Gabriel checks availability, preparation or delivery dates, the final amount and applicable taxes, then contacts you. Payment is requested only after this confirmation.

Order pickup
Pickup is at the orchard, 4701, chemin du Lac, Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon, after confirmation that your order is ready. Preparation is normally expected within 24 hours, depending on product availability.
Come during the agreed pickup window and provide the order name or number. To preserve fresh or frozen products, collect them promptly and bring an appropriate container for transport.

Delivery by Camerise St-Gabriel
- minimum order of $30 before delivery fees;
- $0.30 per kilometre of one-way driving distance, rounded up to the next kilometre, with a $5 minimum;
- maximum one-way driving distance of 150 km from the orchard;
- delivery in selected parts of Lanaudière, Montréal, Laval and Longueuil, depending on the address;
- routes requiring a ferry are not eligible;
- no extra charge for crossing a bridge to the South Shore;
- delivery normally within two days of confirmation;
- applicable taxes, if any, shown before payment.
Enter your full address to check coverage, calculate driving distance and display fees. The agreed delivery date or window is stated in the confirmation. Timing may be adjusted with your agreement when weather, road conditions or circumstances beyond our control require it.
For fresh or frozen products, you must be available to receive the order promptly and store it appropriately without delay. An order is left unattended only with your express instructions and when conditions allow the product to be preserved.
Parcel shipping
Eligible products and service selection
When enabled, parcel shipping is limited to shelf-stable prepared products such as jam, jelly and syrup. Fresh or frozen haskap berries and pick-your-own are not eligible.
Fees are calculated from cart products and quantities, weight, box size and delivery address. Each displayed amount includes transport and the orchard collection fee quoted by Easyship. Services without confirmed, priced collection are not offered.
The customer chooses from the displayed services; the carrier, service, selected rate and address are then attached to the Square order. Displayed delivery times are carrier estimates, not guarantees.

Cancellations and changes
To request a change or cancellation, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate your request if preparation or delivery has not started. A change or cancellation takes effect only after our confirmation.

Problems and refunds
Because of their nature, perishable, refrigerated, frozen or opened foods are generally not accepted for return simply due to a change of mind. This does not limit any mandatory legal rights, including when a product is defective, unfit, damaged or does not match the order.
If a product is missing, incorrect, damaged or has a quality issue, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and, if possible, a photo. Depending on the situation and applicable rules, we will offer a replacement, refund or another appropriate solution.
Cancellation, refund, return and warranty rights under applicable laws remain fully in effect and take precedence over any conflicting provision of this policy.

Pick-your-own rules
Pick-your-own is seasonal and requires no reservation. There is no admission or per-person fee; visitors pay only for the berries picked or basket chosen. The currently confirmed price is $12/kg. During the 2027 season, the orchard will open seven days a week, including holidays, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Opening is expected around June 20; the exact opening and closing dates depend on weather, ripeness and available fruit.
Containers and payment
The orchard offers 2 L baskets for $12 and 4 L baskets for $23. Visitors may also bring their own containers, which must be weighed empty before picking so only the fruit is charged by weight. On-site payments are accepted in cash or by Interac e-Transfer to 450-751-6777 or camerises.ca@gmail.com. Autodeposit is enabled; no security question or answer is needed.
Visitors, weather and safety
Children are welcome under adult supervision. Pets are allowed; please contact us before bringing a large animal. The orchard is accessible to strollers and people with reduced mobility. Parking is free.
The orchard stays open in the rain. An exceptional closure may be necessary due to extreme weather, safety risks or unsuitable picking conditions. Check the day's status before visiting and respect the plants, facilities, accessible areas and other visitors.

Website use and intellectual property
The website's content, text, photographs, logo and graphics may not be reproduced or used commercially without permission, subject to the rights of their respective owners. External links are provided for convenience; Camerise St-Gabriel does not control their content or availability.
